California Helping Hands Brand & Website Launch

A complete website, custom decision-tree experience, and content strategy for a non-medical senior care agency serving Los Angeles, Orange, and Ventura Counties.

The Challenge

California Helping Hands had the heart, the license, and the team, but no online presence to match. As a brand-new non-medical home care agency, Chase needed a site that could compete with established players in three of California's most crowded care markets without leaning on years of reviews or a decade of brand history. The bigger problem: most senior care websites blur the line between medical and non-medical care, which left families confused about what they were actually hiring. The site needed to feel warm and human, communicate trust quickly, and guide nervous families to the right level of care without overwhelming them with jargon or pricing tables.

What We Delivered
Custom Webflow Website Design & Build
Designed and built a fully custom site in Webflow, restructuring a senior care template into something warmer, more photojournalistic, and clearly non-medical. Mobile-first build with prominent click-to-call, three-county service area coverage, and a structure built around how families actually shop for care.
Care Plan Decision Tree (Custom Build)
Designed and built a custom 9-step decision tree from scratch, hosted on GitHub and embedded in Webflow. The tool walks families through who they're caring for, urgency, frequency, time of day, and specific needs, then recommends one of three care levels (Essential, Personal, or Advanced) and captures lead info. Built to remove the guesswork families feel when they first start looking for care.
Copywriting & Content Strategy
Wrote every page on the site, including six service pages, the care levels page, FAQ, contact, and decision-tree result screens. All copy held to a strict non-medical positioning. No "nursing," no "patients," no clinical language, with a tone built for adult children and spouses making a stressful decision.
Brand & Visual Direction
Defined a deep blue primary palette with a warm, photojournalistic visual approach. Directed and prompted custom imagery showing real California homes, no scrubs, no clinical settings, to reinforce the non-medical positioning across every page.
The Results

California Helping Hands now has a website that does the work a brand-new agency normally has to do through word-of-mouth alone. The decision tree gives families a low-pressure entry point, qualifies them by need before a call ever happens, and routes them into the right conversation with Chase's team. Service pages are structured for long-tail local SEO across 60+ cities in three counties, and the entire site is built for Chase to maintain himself in Webflow without touching code. The launch gives Chase a credible, professional presence that punches well above the weight of a new business and an exit ramp from clinical-feeling competitors who all look the same.

In Their Words

Bryan was honestly awesome to work with. He's a fantastic web developer and really knows how to take your ideas and turn them into something real. He was super quick to respond, easy to communicate with, and just made the whole process feel smooth and stress-free. One of the coolest things he did was build out a decision tree for my website, something I'd never even thought of before, and it made everything come together so much better. You can tell he has a ton of experience in corporate life because he catches all the little things you might overthink or miss, and helps guide you through it without making it complicated. Overall, just a great experience. I'd definitely recommend Bryan if you're looking for someone who knows what they're doing and is easy to work with.
