This Privacy Policy explains how Design It ("we," "us") collects, uses, and protects personal information when you visit designit.design, contact us, book a call, or work with us. We keep this simple: we collect only what we need to talk with you and do great work, and we never sell your personal information.

1. Contact form: your name, email, business name, optional phone number, and the details you share about your project.
2. Booking a call: the information you enter when scheduling through Calendly, such as your name, email, and answers to booking questions.
3. Email and project communication: messages, files, logins, and feedback you send while we work together.
4. Billing: billing contact details. Card and bank details are entered directly with our payment processors and are not stored by Design It.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the site, our hosting and analytics tools may collect technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, time on page, and the site that referred you. This is collected through server logs, cookies, and similar technologies.

2. How we use your information

1. To respond to inquiries and schedule calls.
2. To prepare proposals, deliver services, and manage invoices.
3. To understand how the site is used and improve it.
4. To send project updates and, only if you opt in, occasional news or helpful content.
5. To protect the site, prevent spam and fraud, and meet legal obligations.

3. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business, and only as needed:

1. Webflow: website hosting and form submissions.
2. Calendly: call scheduling.
3. Analytics providers: such as Google Analytics, to understand site traffic.
4. Email, file sharing, and project tools: used to communicate and deliver work.
5. Payment processors: to handle invoices and recurring payments.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or as part of a merger or sale of the business. Each provider handles data under its own privacy policy.

4. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies that are needed for the site to work and, where enabled, analytics cookies that help us see which pages are useful. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and where a cookie banner is shown you can change your choices at any time. Blocking cookies may affect how parts of the site work.

5. Health information

Please do not send protected health information (PHI) or patient details through our contact form or by email. Our website forms are not designed to collect health information.

6. How long we keep information

We keep inquiry information for as long as needed to respond and follow up, and client records for as long as needed to provide services and meet tax, accounting, and legal requirements. We delete or anonymize information when it is no longer needed.

7. How we protect information

We use reputable, secure providers, limit access to the people who need it, and use strong passwords and two-factor authentication where available. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

8. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, including under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act and other state privacy laws, you may have the right to:

1. Confirm whether we process your personal data and access a copy of it.
2. Correct inaccurate information.
3. Delete your personal data.
4. Receive your data in a portable format.
5. Opt out of the sale of personal data, targeted advertising, or profiling. We do not engage in these activities.

To make a request, email bryan@designit.design. We will verify your request and respond within 45 days. If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision, and we will respond to your appeal within 60 days. If you are not satisfied, you may contact your state attorney general.

9. Children

This website is intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

10. Where data is stored

Design It is based in the United States, and information is stored and processed in the United States by us and our providers.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or tools change. The effective date above shows when it was last updated.
